This Privacy Policy explains what personal information JaniX (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and learning platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, optional phone number, profile photo and profile text.
• Learning records: courses you enroll in, lessons you complete, quiz answers and scores, assignment submissions, grades, feedback and certificates.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and activity timestamps, used for security (for example, to block repeated failed logins) and to keep the service running.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To deliver courses, record your progress, grade assessments and issue certificates.
• To send transactional emails such as registration, password reset, enrollment, results and certificate notices.
• To send optional reminders and course updates, which you can turn off at any time in notification settings.
• To produce anonymous, aggregated statistics that help us improve courses.

3. Who can see your information

Instructors can see the names, progress and results of learners in their own courses. Administrators can see account and learning records to operate the platform. Certificate verification pages show the certificate holder's name, the course and the issue date to anyone who has the certificate number. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, file storage, video delivery and email. They process data only on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.

5. Security

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing (never in plain text). Connections are encrypted with HTTPS, access to administrative functions is restricted by role, and important administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

6. Retention

We keep your account and learning records while your account is active so you can return to your courses and certificates. You can ask us to delete your account; certificate records may be kept in a minimal form so that past certificates can still be verified, unless you ask us to revoke them.

7. Your rights

You can view and update your profile at any time. To request a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, email japurba97@gmail.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a security cookie that protects forms. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser.

We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above. For significant changes we'll notify you by email.
